Vetting our partners
Explore our vetting processTrust begins with knowing where your donation is going. Before featuring a cause, The Third Door reviews the organization and program through a structured vetting process designed to assess credibility, stewardship, impact, and accountability.
We evaluate each partner against four core areas of review which expand into six detailed areas of partner due diligence, before approval.
For approved partners, key findings from our review are shared on the corresponding cause page.
6 Key Areas of Partner Due Diligence

Safeguarding & Risk Management
We consider safeguards, operational risks and protections appropriate to the communities being served.

We verify active governance structures and third-party evaluator benchmarks, such as Candid or Charity Navigator.
Program & Impact
We look for credible evidence that the programs we support address a demonstrated need and produce meaningful results.
Funding Traceability
We verify how funds reach the designated program and what reporting is available to demonstrate their use.
